Relaxing in a busy well run pub with no loud music or drunken youths, an absolute pleasure. Food was first class. this is a village retreat worth visiting even if not to stay over.
Bath water not as hot as could have been.

During my stay, I really appreciated the cozy atmosphere and the helpful staff who made the experience enjoyable. The food was a standout, especially the delicious breakfast options that exceeded my expectations. One downside was the low water pressure in the shower, but it didn't detract much from an otherwise pleasant overnight stay.

The owner and his staff were superb. We had a slight hiccup on arrival which was very quickly dealt with followed by a complimentary bottle of wine with dinner. Excellant food including breakfast.
I appreciate it is an old building but I feel the lighting in the room could be improved as the window was very small. We stayed 3 nights and the toiletries were not replenished during our stay.
